Highest revenue earned from ticket sales for a boxing match

According to Official Guinness Records,

The highest revenue earned from ticket sales for a boxing match is $72,198,500 (£46,843,387) from the sale of 16,219 tickets for the Floyd Mayweather Jr. (USA) versus Manny Pacquiao (Philippines) in a Welterweight title fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA, on 02 May 2015.
The ticket sales was reported by the Nevada State Athletic Commission on 12 May, it far surpassed the previous record from the Mayweather vs Alvarez bout in 2013 that garnered $20,003,150 from the sale of 16,146 tickets.
