First woman to ride the Grand National

According to Official Guinness Records,

The first ever female jockey to ride in the Grand National horse race was Charlotte Brew on Barony Fort at Aintree, Liverpool, UK on 2 April 1977. Horse and rider did not finish the race, pulling up at the fourth fence from home.
