According to Official Guinness Records,

The science-fiction movie Serenity (USA, 2005), became the first full-resolution rip of an HD DVD movie. In 2007, the 19.6 GB file was made available on BitTorrent as an .evo file, confirming the suspicion that the copyright protection on HD DVDs had been bypassed.
