First company successfully sued for spamming

According to Official Guinness Records,

Media Logistics UK became the first company to be sued successfully for sending unwanted email advertising (spam) in December 2005. The Stirlingshire-based company in Scotland agreed to pay £270 ($465)compensation plus costs to internet businessman Nigel Roberts of Alderney, Channel Islands, UK.
