Fastest run 5,000 metres (male) (indoors)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest run indoor 5,000 m by a male athlete is 12 minutes 49.60 seconds, by Kenenisa Bekele (Ethiopia) at an IAAF Indoor Grand Prix in Birmingham, UK, on 20 February 2004. He ran the final 200 m in just 27.06 seconds.In 2004, Bekele set three world records (indoor and outdoor 5,000 m, outdoor 10,000 m) and won a gold and silver medal at the Athens Olympics. As of Feb 2018, he still holds the IAAF world record in all three events.
