Fastest mental arithmetic – Flash Anzan™

According to Official Guinness Records,

The fastest mental arithmetic – Flash Anzan™ is 1.68 seconds and was achieved by Takahiro Asano (Japan) by correctly adding 15 sets of three-digit numbers flashed on the screen at All Japan Soroban Championships held at Kyoto International Conference Center, in Sakyo, Kyoto, Japan, on 8 August 2017.Asano won the competition without a single wrong answer, which also won him the right to attempt the world record. He shortened the previous record of 1.70 seconds by 0.02 second.
