Farthest jump by a dog (dock jumping)

According to Official Guinness Records,

The farthest jump by a dog in a dock jumping competition is 31 ft (9.44 m) shared by Taz (Canada) and Cochiti (USA). Taz, a black Labrador retriever owned by Mike Chiasson (Canada), achieved the record at Seaway Splash, Clayton, New York, USA, on 17 June 2012. Cochiti, a 6-year-old male whippet owned by Diane Salts (USA), matched the record at the Clark County Fair in Ridgefield, Washington, USA, on 4 August 2012.
