Yom Kippur:

Jewish people traditionally observe this holy day with an approximate 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Day of Repentance - Day 10:
Starting from the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah, ten days of repentance, also referred to as Days of Awe, begin during which people meditate on the sins committed during the past year and proceeds to repent. The 10 days of repentance, also called Aseret Yemei Teshuva(Aseret Y'may T'shuvah), end with the conclusion of Yom Kippur.
